Candidates for both Assistant and Associate Professor positions can apply. Positions will be filled according to background and experience of the candidate.
The position will be ranked in the Dutch university job ranking system (UFO) as assistant professor (“universitair docent”) or associate professor (“universitair hoofddocent”). The starting gross salary for a full-time appointment for an assistant professor is (minimally) €3.637,- in scale 11 up to (maximally) € 5.656,- gross per month (max €78.935,- all-in per year). The starting gross salary for a full-time appointment for an associate professor is (minimally) € 5.039,- per month in scale 13 up to (maximally) € 6.133,- gross per month (max € 85,592 all-in per year).
The positions are full time, but part-time positions of 80% are negotiable.
The start date of the employment is negotiable, but preferably as soon as possible. If your desired start date is still subject to the corona measures, it is possible to start working remotely.
Tilburg University is rated among the top of Dutch employers and has excellent terms of employment. Candidates from outside the Netherlands may qualify for a tax-free allowance equal to 30% of their taxable salary. The university will apply for such an allowance on their behalf.
