• Well educated in this field of technology: MSc level (PhD) micro-electronics or similar and with at least 5 years of relevant design experience including tape-out.
• Good understanding of transistor level circuit design techniques and methods, and semiconductor physics.
• Enthusiastic in developing new circuits, but also strong targeted to the deliverable.
• Good communicator and preferably experience with collaboration in multisite, multicompetence environment.
• Well Experienced with Cadence IC Design for Tools and Flow for modeling analog design and simulation as Virtuoso Schematic entry, Virtuoso (XL) Layout editor, (Calibre)DRC/LVS, Spectre Simulator ADXL, Matlab, Python.

The offer

The candidate will be employed by the NWO-I foundation. He/she will receive a 2 year contract with the outlook for a permanent assignment. The gross monthly salary varies from approx. € 3.500,- to € 5.250,-, depending on level of education and experience of the candidate. This salary is excluding fixed extra allowances of a month’s salary in May and December. Among the attractive secondary conditions are the inclusion in the Dutch government Pension fund, and an amount of 8 weeks holiday per year. The conditions of employment of the NWO-I foundation are laid down in the Collective Labor Agreement for Research Centers
