The successful candidate

• has a PhD in mathematics or statistics and has academic publications in leading journals
• has an outstanding track record of achievements in the field of mathematical statistics and has a strong international network in the field
• has shown capabilities in stimulating junior researchers and supervising PhD students
• is an inspiring lecturer and has experience in supervising students
• has experience in developing curricula and teaching material, has a broad vision on new developments in the field, and is able to implement these developments into the teaching program
• has good communication skills

Fixed-term contract: Undetermined periode.

A challenging position in a socially involved organization. On a full-time basis the remuneration amounts to a minimum gross monthly salary of €5,453 (scale 14) and a maximum €8,371 (H2), depending on your education and experience. The job profile is based on the university job ranking system and is vacant for at least 0.8 FTE.
