What do we require

• A PhD in Computer Science or related field, emphasizing multimedia analytics, information visualisation, or visual analytics for position (1), and computer vision and/or machine learning for position (2);
• A strong publication record in top-tier international conferences and journals.
• Solid knowledge of programming and (deep) learning toolkits.
• Motivated and capable of contributing to an interdisciplinary project.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Affinity and or experience with cultural heritage or visual culture is considered a plus.

Fixed-term contract: 24 months.

Our offer

A temporary contract for 38 hours a week, preferably starting in 2021 for the duration of 24 months. The salary, depending on relevant experience before the beginning of the employment contract, will be €2,836 to €4,474 (scale 10) gross per month, based on a fulltime contract (38 hours a week). This is exclusive 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end-of-year bonus. A favourable tax agreement, the ‘30% ruling’, may apply to non-Dutch applicants. The Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities is applicable.
