You have a strong background in supramolecular chemistry, soft materials science and/or polymer chemistry. You must have experience in industrial crystallization and/or formulation technology, and the structural and rheological characterization of soft materials. Practical skills in organic or polymer synthesis are highly advantageous. Desirable experience includes (a) calorimetry, (b) light and/or electron microscopy, (c) X-ray diffraction, and (d) rheology. It is essential that you are able to demonstrate competence in these areas, as judged by publications (or papers in press) in high quality peer reviewed journals or an MSc Thesis on a relevant topic. Very good spoken and written English is mandatory.
Fixed-term contract: 2 jaar.
