We are looking for a driven Senior Data Engineer who enjoy solving problems, who initiate solutions and discussions and who believe that any challenge can be scaled with the right mindset and tools:

• Proven experience  as a senior  software developer with experience and passion for building an enterprise data platform and associated tooling.
• Highly proficient in design, implementation and delivery of quality maintainable code with Java. We aim for simple, scalable and observable software.
• Strong understanding of cloud native data patterns and technologies (AWS Glue, S3, Lae Formation, Kinesis, Kinesis Firehose, Kafka)
• Experience building a big data platform or data lake ingest and management
• Comfortable iteratively developing, owning, and monitoring cloud infrastructure
• Experience with IAC (Infrastructure as Code), or interested in learning
• Quality first mind-set for writing code using techniques such as TDD, BDD or pair programming
• Passionate about Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Agile
• Understanding of cloud security best practices
• (SNR) Extensive experience with a cloud platforms (AWS preferable)
• Experience with a cloud platforms (AWS preferable)
• Good understanding of security principles and writing secure code
• Experience of working on large scale, well governed and compliant systems
• Good understanding of basic analytics and machine learning concepts
• Excellent communication, written and spoken
