What do we require

You have a passion for research, a demonstrable interest in the research topic, and experience in or demonstrable interest in teaching.

Your experience and profile:

• (Research) master's degree in work and organizational psychology, social psychology, cultural psychology, organizational behaviour, communication science, or equivalent program;
• Strong conceptual thinking as well as data analytic skills;
• Experience/strong affinity with a variety of research methodologies and a high willingness to learn new methods;
• Experience/strong affinity with behavioural data coding;
• Experience/strong affinity with both fundamental and applied research questions;
• Excellent time management skills and high cognitive flexibility;
• Excellent writing skills;
• Excellent English proficiency, Dutch proficiency is a pre.

Fixed-term contract: 66 months.

Our offer

The position concerns temporary employment of 38 hours per week for a maximum term of 5,5 years. The initial employment is for one year. Following a positive assessment and barring altered circumstances, this term will be extended by a maximum of 54 months, which should result in the conferral of a doctorate. We will put together a curriculum that will include the opportunity to attend courses (e.g., via the Kurt Lewin Institute), and national and international conferences/meetings.

For this position, the University Job Classification profile "promovendus" applies. Your salary will be €2,443 gross per month in the first year and will increase to €3,122 in the final year, based on full-time employment and in keeping with the Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities. We additionally offer an extensive package of secondary benefits, including 8% holiday allowance and a year-end bonus of 8.3%.
